Pump keeps stopping when I refuel!!!!
OK, I searched the forum archives and I couldn't find anything. The past 2 trips to the gas station have been very frustrating.
The pump keeps stopping every half gallon or so and no matter how I position the nozzle, it still stops!!! It takes me almost 5 minutes to fill up the tank and its pissin me off! I've tried 2 different gas stations and its the same crap.
Has someone experienced this and if so, do you have any solutions or suggestions? TIA!

At any gas station, or just that one?
If you're sure something is wrong with the car, there should be a vent tube at the top of the filler neck. It runs to the evap canister I think. If that tube is clogged or filled with fuel (someone overfilled the tank previously) or something is wrong with the evap canister, that could explain your troubles.
First verify that it wasn't just that one pump causing the problem. If it wasn't the pump, find the line (might have to go in from inside the trunk?), trace it back and disconnect it, then try filling the tank (be careful, it'll probably overflow). That should narrow things down.

I agree with what Omarr said, but not what Audii-Dudii said. When this happens to me, it usually
works if I put the nozzle all the way into the car and then press down (vertically - towards the ground). If that doesn't work, then take the nozzle out a bit, but again, press down. The key, I think, is to press down vertically.

maybe wedge your fuel cap infront of the trigger
atleast thats what i do when the gas pump doesnt have the trigger lock.....hate sitting there holding the trigger while fueling especially when cold....try it out maybe it'll work
