Hey People!

One thing to say. Never buy a car that you can drive for 4 hours one day and then not again for 5-8 days!!! This is gonna SUCK!

I got my black C4 yesterday at about 1:00. I took it for a joy ride about 75 or 80 miles. WOW is all I can say. Every time I drive one I get a bigger and bigger smile. The car is amazing. It is faster than my modded S4, handling is really great, steering is tight, braking is probably just as good as my $6000 setup on the S4! The appearance of the car is really stunning in person. You have to see it in person and not in a photo! What else, there is too much to say about how great it is!!

I got home at about 3:00 then the heartbreaking carrier truck came and picked it up ((( I just hope it gets here to NY safely! Should be 5-8 days. My flight took less than 3 hours so it is going to be tough I know. If you didn't see my answers before no the car is not going in a city garage and I am not driving it in the city at all. My friend's aunt is *letting* me leave it at her house when I don't drive it. We're good friends so it won't be a problem. I hope to drive it at least three times per week.

After the C4 went away I went out with my S4 to Daytona Beach (about 60 miles from my house) with some friends. The S4 is still the best car for everything not just speed. I am going to miss it a lot. After I got back and dropped off my friends I went out and drove some more. I should have stayed home I think. I got caught doing 92 in a 65 but I was only about 15mph faster than the rest of them!!! How unfair I even tried to tell the officer that it was my last night in Florida and I really really could not afford a ticket. Jackass ruined my night. At least I didn't get arrested that would have really spoiled things. I didn't get anything for the clear corners or tint violation. Did anybody see me? I hate getting pulled over at night. As if it isn’t bad enough at night it is like hey yo I got pulled over look at me!!! Leslie could probably see me when she was landing in Orlando. I can’t wait for that email “heehe I saw you pulled over from 30,000’ above! I had a window seat”

I will post pictures of my C4 soon. Have to wait for the car here first

Is the S4 the OFFICIAL pre-Porsche car? this is a trend I see more and more of lately...

Default Maybe...

Who else makes an AWD car (sorry Boxster guys) that can outperform an S4?

Realistically, I don't see a turbo in my future, but perhaps a C4 once they get some more ponies under the hood (heard they're up to around 317 for '01 -- another 20 and I'd be satisfied).

Default i'd say most everything is a pre-porsche car... saturns, geos and honda hybrids not included...

but i see where you're coming from. speaking for myself, i will get a porsche someday, when i'm older, wiser and can finally get the kids out of the house. the s4 may not be the prerequisite but it is the precursor to a porsche. i'll be sure to enjoy many more cars before stepping into a porsche - saving the best for last!
