Default Question about "whooosh" under heavy accel.

I was driving an x-chipped sedan this weekend and it seemed to make a subtle whoosh noise under heavy boost only at the very end of the rpm range (after 5,000). There was no noise when lifting. It was difficult to differentiate noise from increased wind noise b/c the car flys - could this indicate a leak or is it possibly the X-chip trying to suck more air through stock air box?

definitely not a noise my stock wagon makes...

Default You have discovered the sandblaster sound...

assuming you still have a stock exhaust.

Default Sounds like the same thing my Saab does. I think the stock exhaust, plus more boost creates this...

other wise, it's just the BPV letting out more aire since the x-chip is taking in more air. But, this does sound different than the normal "pssh" by the BPV, right? more like a "shhht".
