Default Question about 40k mile service...

I know this includes new plugs and filter, but i changed both of these myself a few weeks ago. Is there anything else that they do, and if i dont bring it in, would they deny warranty work in the future?
Thanks.

You get an oil change too, I think a new pollen filter, all the fluids topped off, reset service light and a look over of the car. I'd take it in regardless, tell them not to change the parts you replaced but to do everything else. If nothing else if they see something while it's in they can take care of it. That and it will make the tech happy. Labor time will stay the same and he'll have to do less work.

Default No

As far as I know the fuel filter never gets replaced on the warranty services. Usually we did them around 60K.

Default how big of a bitch is it on the s4

my car has 31k and i hate the idea of having the spark plugs and fuel filter in another 10k especially since i don't drive the car everyday. It will be 2 years before i hit 40k

Default Never had to do one.

But I have heard some sort of rumor apart partially dropping the tank or something to that effect. All I know was it was like 5 hours additional for it. It looks like it wouldn't be a big deal, but aparently it is. I wouldn't sweat having the plugs in another 10K miles.

you have to loosen the fuel tank straps and still is kind of a bitch
at 40k is not necessary
