Default Question re: RS4's.

I don't know much about them and thought they were never offered for sale in the US. This morning I saw a Nogaro car (Avant, of course) with an RS4 badge. Since it had a grapefruit launcher exhaust on it, I'm guessing this guy is a poseur. Since I was in traffic I didn't have a chance to look at it more closely. I'm thinking it was an S4 Avant ---at best.

Thoughts?

Default Yes, RS4's were never sold in the U.S. However, a few have been imported...

...but it does sound like you saw a rebadged S4 Avant based on the "grapefruit launcher" exhaust you mentioned.

Default When I first saw the badge I was pretty impressed at first . . .

Then I saw that exhaust and thought <what is that doing there?> It's too bad, since, except for that, it was a pretty nice looking car.

Thanks for your response.

It was probably an A4 avant if he was running a trashcan riceboy muffler

It very well could be. The S4 bumper doesn't prove anything.
