Default It also determines short term fuel trim. You need to check the voltage of the sensor.

I will send you some great OBDII and Vag software to monitor just about everything. Use your Vag-com cable for both . Check you mail.

Will the dealer cover it? It aint cheap.

Exactly what Rick said - problems with the O2 sensor could cause that exact problem - good luck.

Default Very very true. Platnium is not what it's cracked up to be.

It, in itself has caused misfiring after installation. Not all cars like them.

There are no plug wires. There is a coil over each plug.

Default Dealer *might* cover it, but...

the sensor is screwed into the MTM downpipes, so I would have to rub thier noses into my mods, a bridge I'm not ready to cross for a $160 part. Plus, they will have to confirm it, and that takes a 45 minute drive at highway speeds, and I do not relish anyone driving my car like that, unless I know them well!

Get the OE part # and buy it from any Bosch dealer for 125 or less..

It does sound like an O2, why not swith bank 1 to 2 and see if problem moves over there.

Default Not 100% true....

if platnium plugs were a problem, Audi would not use them as the OE plug... S4's use NGK PFR6Q's...
