I raced my friends S 500 last night and I was very impressed. First race he won because I forgot to turn off ESP. 2nd race I beat him by a almost 2 cars, mostly because of my launch. To my surpise I couldnt pull on him! Is my car a lemon? or are they really that fast?

These things are not fast 0-60 relatively speaking but once they start going, their V-8s owns you!

If it's a new S500 then yeah they are damn fast.
I take my dad's out once and a while and that thing still puts a smile on my face. All you have to do is mash the pedal and your at 60 MPH in about 6 seconds flat in a huge 4,500 lb luxury car.

This guy was driving it with his wife/girlfriend and two kids in the back seat. To be honest, it was very risky in my book to be "racing" with kids in the back seat, but...I really couldn't refuse; he was acting like a yahoo. (He acted like he never drove a nice car before...maybe it wasn't his car.) Anyway, he couldn't keep up going from 60-120. But those boats do move once it gets going.
