Default ran through a giant puddle on the passenger side tonight. passenger side headlight immediately...
failed. im just trying to figure out if it was the light itself that blew or the ballast. my wallet hopes for the headlights...i could use some new lights anyway..something brighter than stock. maybe even yellow for the upcoming winter?

swap bulbs side to side and see what happens.

Default yea ill end up doing that tomorrow. worst case scenario i guess i have to source a new ballast?
...or just drive around with no lights on at night.

you still got one working. that's probably more light than 2 halogens.

Default BTDT; very heavy rain, huge puddle, immediately lost HL, turned out to be the ballast
Swapping bulbs is good quick-and-dirty diagnostic, though.

mine was the bulb when I hit a puddle. buy two new bulbs, replace, keep old one as spare.
