Default Rattling from the Back
I have a 2000 Audi S4 (75k miles) that started making a rattling / vibrating noise that sounds like its coming from the back of the car. It only happens while I am moving for a few seconds at a time but it is not consistent. If I take it out of gear, I still hear the sound. Does anyone know what this could be?

Could be sway bar links or the sway bar bushings. They make quite a racket over small bumps.

I had a rattle like that, it was a loose rear strut. pretty easy to check
