Rattling Climate Control

My dealer is giving me a hard time about fixing it (second time in) and I am fed up with the whole situation.

Can anyone weigh in with some options. Is it worth disassembling and lubricating, should I buy the replacement unit myself (cost?), should I leave the car there forever and continue to enjoy the sweet Toyota Corolla I am driving?

You mean the squealing climate control temperature sampling fan? I got the same damn thing.

And I don't know what to do about it either.

I had that last year and it was replaced under warranty at the dealer.

the buzzing noise ? take it apart and lube the little fan inside

try and blow some air in the little vent between the radio and climate ctrl.
in the pic is the white one.

How hard is it to get the ECU out? I have the radio tools, do I need anything else?

if under warranty, MAKE THEM REPLACE IT. It's a common problem.

no ecu has to come out .. once the radio is out things become more accessible from there
