read a recent article on Ask Mike on Valentines page which states that metalized film significantly
affets the performance of the radar detector. I have metalized film 20 percent in the rear window and 28 on the sides and ceramic film (huper optik)on the windshield the windshield film is Sec 50 which has 50% visible light trasmission and 32% infrared. Does anyone have metalized tint and is using the V1 detector? Should I use a detector that has outside locators?<ul><li><a href="http://www.valentine1.com/lab/MikesLabRpt1.asp">radar and tint</a></li></ul>
