Default ummm...why would you expect a check engine light? quattro is purely mechanical

And if you dont have tread on your rear tires, it will do that.

I like it when the *** comes out in the wet. I shoot for that pretty much everytime I corner.

Default you guys are all great comedians! Thanks for all your help! The engine checklight that just

came on, maybe that's what it is. dont have VAG, otherwise would have checked it myself.

There's definately something wrong, I live in Vancouver and it rains here ALL THE TIME, so we get a lot of practise in rain and I FREAKING know if the car is doing something funny in the rain and my A4 had almost tenatious grip in wet with the same tires! so, I know something's up.

If a comment sounds newb, just freaking leave it, instead of being an a$$...

cause I just noticed the back being like this after the engine checklight, maybe ESP is disabled...

Default 2 easiest things: tire tread depth, and age of tires...

if they're all hard and old, they won't do crap when it gets slippery, ask me how I know.

also, no tread = skiis.
