Rear pads & rotors done, not nearly the PITA I thought it would be (long)
After having the parts (Mintex Reds and ECS OEM slotted) on my workbench for the better part of 5 months and desparately needing a break from ripping down wallpaper I decided to tackle the rear brakes. The pads were down to about 1/16" so it was definitely time.
I followed the tech writeup and had no problems at all. Even the caliper carrier bolts didn't take too much effort, unlike the fronts that needed an impact wrench.
The only real problem I had was the weather... I have no garage, and witin moments of prying off the first pad it began to rain. It rained earlier but looked to be clearing so I thought I was safe. It was just a light drizzle, enough to be annoying. It was plenty dry under the wheelwell and I kept my tools dry under the car. Of course the rain stopped just as I left the driveway for a road test.
Cleaned up, put the tools away, and finished off the remaining wallpaper demolition that my wife left for me. I'm tired.

I thought about it but wanted to stay home in case my wife needed help inside.
I finished up about 15 minutes after the little guy (not me, the littler guy) woke up from his nap.
