Removing the in-dash cup holder-Help?

Re: Removing the in-dash cup holder-Help?
The Hazard surround trim is just clipped in. There are about 6 clips all around so be careful when you pry it off. You can remove the radio to make this a little easier. Once the trim piece are removed, their are two shiny brass clips on the top of the cup holder. Remove these and it should free up the cupholder and let it slide forward. However there is a small harness that connects to the back of the cupholder. Becareful as the light that the harness is connected to may want to seperate from the cup more than the harness. Let me know if you run into any snags

Removing the trim is easy. Open the cup holder and then pull from inside the cup holder opening.
You can pry from inside here to get it started. Do not try to start lifting the trim with a screwdriver from the outside because you'll risk chipping the wood. How do I know this?
