Default Repost for weekday crowd. Chip original ECU or "new" spare ECU.

I bought the spare ECU used. It's supposedly only been used for 2k miles. My original is an M box with 58k miles on it and the spare is a T box. I've been driving around with the T box for about two days now and there seems to be no problems. I'm getting ready to send an ECU up to ASW to get chipped. Would it be better to chip my original since it's given 58k trouble free miles and I can count on it being trouble free when chipped or should I keep old faithful stock and chip the T box instead since I know there will be no problems with my original if i ever have to go back to stock ?

Keep the ECU that came with your car stock.

Stay with the ECU you know as stock, chip the unknown. Otherwise you have 2 unknowns...
