Required reading: Audi new DSG Transmission..better than BMW SMG????
Was at the bookstore this past weekend reading up on cars and pick up the latest issued for European car magazine. In it was the new TT with a 3.2L engine (250hp) and the new Audi DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) transmission. After reading the article it looks like a better transmission than BMW SMG. No clutch pedal, pedal shifters and no need to shift sequential. It is not an automatic trans it has two clutches inside. I won't try to explain how it works but you guys need to read the article.
