Restarting NickS thread....rumour or fact.....'01 syn oil
Still looking for someone with AoA connections to confirm syn oil from factory for '01 S4. Talking to dealer(s) doesn't do it for me. Does somebody have factory connections?

My dealer says they come with synthetic
We were talking about my 2000 at the time but I think he was referring to the '01s.
Says no problem with breakin. Of course he also says that if I want syn in the dealer-supplied oil changes I will have to furnish it! M-1 is $4 a quart x 7 quarts = $28!
