Right rear tail light/brake light problem. When I turn on the lights the right rear lights up as if
the brake pedal is pressed. Both bulbs are new and I've switched them around but the problem remains. Hmm?

Are they dual filament bulbs?
So they're both light up in what should be the brighter of 2 stages? Maybe you got bulbs for cars where the brake light is by itself.

Yes. The bulbs came in pairs and installed both on the car tonight.
Again, I've tried both bulbs on both sides (switched back and forth) yet the right side still lights up brighter.
