RMS woes, install info needed
ok, just opened the box from ECStuning tht has my new RMS, and guess what no mounting flange included, despite it being pictured on their website. i just got off the phone with them and they are doing their best to track one down for me....
so can i install this without the mounting flange thing? and also, been STFA and cant find torque specs or directions. any one got em?
thanks.... just have to wait to put my engine back in i guess!

10Nm on the bolts and I made my own tool out of some plastic shim stock.
I cut a strip of shim stock or you could use a large water bottle and put it on the inside of the seal and slide the flange on the end of the crank, then remove the shim stock. P.S. M8 are 20Nm and M6 are 15Nm.

You can press the seal into the old flange, but I highly suggest replacing the whole assembly. READ:
Also remember to get a new paper gasket and make sure you clean all of the old one off very well.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, make sure that the seal curves in towards the motor, not out towards the transmission.
