RS4 stock shock ab + MTM RS4 springs...your opinions???
I've got the chance to buy from a friend of mine a set of RS4 stock shock absorbers plus MTM RS4 springs for a reasonbable price. Do you think I can fit these things to my S4? I remember that there was someone from Europe here who ordered RS4 suspensions but then choosed KW V2... (sorry if don't remember your nick =( ), he gave me a good advice on KW coilovers.
Thanks everybody

I don't know that any OEM shocks would be well suited to non-OEM springs...
I haven't heard anything specific about the RS4 shocks, but I would doubt they have significantly more dampening than the S4 units. The general consensus is that aftermarket springs will quickly blow stock shocks.
Perhaps the MTM springs with some Bilstein or Koni shocks?

mmm yeah that's right. I thought that RS4 susp were significantly stiffer...
...so I thought "cheap and stiff"!
Anyway, I can have, from the same guy, stock RS4 springs too. Could it be a good choice? I would like to make my car slightly stiffer but not too lower...

I have RS4 shocks + springs on my S4 Avant (more)
I would recommend this if the price is right (read cheap). The setup is a vast improvement over the stock S4 suspension - not too hard, and lowers by around 20mm. Give the MTM springs a miss - probably too harsh, especially if your're running 18's. You would get better results with a full stasis or H&R setup though if you can afford it.
How many miles has it got on it?
