Default S4 Engines... auto and manual differ?

On the Hollander interchange, it shows that the 2.7l BiTurbo engines differ from manual and automatic, but do fit by changing the flywheel (duh) and cylinder heads (?). Anyone experience with this before? Some Audi specialize mechanics are telling me they are exactly the same, no different... is it true?

heads are slightly different for the air injection, which can be blocked off and used....

So, I DO NOT have to change the heads? Just block off the extra air ports...

Default that is correct.

you dont have to block off the air ports either if you have the valves in place. ( they are usually bolted to the heads.

its only a 1/4 hole. you can tap it and bolt it shut.
