S4 Modification Path

S4 Modification Path
One of my buddies just got an 2000 S4 and was looking for mods...I drive an MKIV Supra TT and we have BPU, BPU+, BPU++ lists on MKIV.com that help Newbies understand what the best bang-for-your-buck modificaiton path is for the Supra.
The other night he came over and we were looking on AW for something similar and we were suprised to see very little informtion like this.
What would you reccommend for the first few mods, is there a place to get this kind of information (a link?), and what are the top online aftermarket vendors for the Audi/VW crowd?

The order of mods depends on what your purpose for modding is. There is no defined path.
Most people just want more power so they buy a chip. But you'd probably want to control that extra power so you'd want to upgrade suspension. Then with a chip you'd probably want to upgrade the exhaust and downpipes to squeeze more power out of it.
As far as engine mods go there are 2.5 clearly defined stages. After that it just turns into whatever you feel like doing or how much you want to spend.
Stage 1 - Chip
Stage 2 - Chip + Exhaust
Stage 2+ - Chip + Exhaust + Downpipes
Stage 3- - Anything having to do with upgrading turbos without fueling upgrades
Stage 3 - Stage 3- + fueling upgrades
Anything more than that just depends on how deep your wallet goes.

My chosen path:
1. Tires
2. Brakes (stock calipers, performance rotors + pads)
3. Chip (+ all other recommended upgrades for this)
4. DPs
5. Exhaust
6. IC's
7. Hybrid turbos (+ some other stuff while the engine is out)
8. Suspension
9. Wheels
10.RS4 bumber
Basically, I want my car built first for go, then for show.
I want it to look virtually 100% stock, yet be a performance rocket.
I just made arrangements to be done with step 4 in a month or two (going with oink oinks)
