S4 owners agree with my review of the NSX ?
I hope they do at least. I'm sure you guys are spoiled with your speedy S4s just like I am with my M3. :-)
I test drove this used NSX car today. I was bored so I wrote a very small review with some pics. Car is gorgeous, but disappointing performance-wise.

it was *good*
I mean the best handling car I've driven is the Boxster S (in my far-from-professional opinion). It wasn't like the Boxster S. In fact, it didn't *feel* as good as my M3 handling. Again, this is subjective. So that's why I wasn't that impressed. :-( I'm gonna get mad flames from NSX owners..hehe.

The Targa's are even worse, driving it is the noisest experience
in a car, and to top it off, the rear hatch acts like a parachute. Car was cool to drive, but I like an E36 M3(handling wise) over it any day. I also wasn't a fan of the radio display, in the sun, you can't read anything (with a Targa top off.) The car new IMO would be worth $40-45k, $85k, they were out of their mind.

you gotta take it to the tracks.
and if your very expereniced in track. then i heard you can hvae alot of fun that car. but if you think about it. a 1995 vs. 2002/3, and its only a 3.2 liter engine. the technology of cars have advanced alot. its too bad US doesnt have the type-s or the type-r.

I understand, but consider this...
I haven't tracked my M3 yet and I enjoy what I know so far in highway and regular driving, and the ocassional mini-racing that I discourage btw. ;-)
Supposedly I'm not taking full advantage of the cars potential both M3 and NSX. I talked to one of the instructors at Summit Point and he said NSX and M3s are great on the track (as I'm sure S4s are too, I'm not leaving you guys out) where you'll get another dimension of performance.
But if the car doesn't please you on drives that consist of 99.9% of your time on it, then it's overall disappointing, especially for a $90k car.

Re: S4 owners agree with my review of the NSX ?
I like the NSX. The 97+ does come with a 6 speed and 20 more HP. I see 97+ test of the 290hp NSX run high 4's 0-60. Everyone who has driven one tells me the car is great. Not that powerful but a true every day exotic. Car magazine just named the NSX car of the year beating out about ever Euro exotic you can imagine. The taste of Car editors is differnt, although I feel they are more intuned with electing driver's cars. For example the NSX they chose was a Type-R with no A/C, radio, power seats,...etc. I think this is pretty good considering the NSX hasn't changed much and came out when I was in HighSchool. Now I'm a few months from turning 30. BTW their 0-60 was in a scant 4.4 seconds.
