Is this S4 or RS4 mirror cover? Looks too shiny to be RS4 (the claim). Also, can the damage be fixed

everyone at the G2G's say its bare aluminum and im like NO it has a clear coat, trying to polish it
wont do ****... my cargo rails have slight detachment formt he aluminum and it looks like they need to be polished, but i know it has to be stripped of clearcoat then polished buffed then recoated
am i right or wrong?

yes it can, have to do both so they match THEN clear coat them, you may have to strip the coatingf
in order to polish them first though, perhaps polishing them will take of the clear coat...
