Quick weekend roadtrip to Las Cruces and White Sands, NM over the weekend. Mountain driving with temperatures above 105 deg F for many parts...no problems, just a great trip. White sands is very neat...highly recommend the visit if your in the area. Averaged about 24 MPG with the air blasting away and the car full of people and stuff. Neat sighting too...a caravan of half-dozen new 911's (all types) going east bound on route 8 just outside El Centro (maybe hot weather testing??? Love the S4.
