Saw a decent amount of S4's today on Long Island... It may have been one of you!... okay, maybe not.
1 in Roosevelt field mall, Long Island-- Nogaro Blue. Had a vanity plate referring to the energizer bunny. 2001 (new badge, i mean)
1 on Grand Central, near the Cross Island on-ramp. I coudn't catch up to the car to see the driver
. Traffic sucks. It was nogaro.
Saw a silver S4 also, in my area, Hewlett.
Also saw a santorin somewhere, i forget where though.
It sucks though. I was driving my sister 328i.
Anyone here on L.I. ?
How come i NEVER see anyone from the boards? wtf! this sucks.
New York S4, do you EVER drive your car out of your driveway? LOL!
And LI-S4, how come I haven't seen you on sunrise highway yet!? lol 8D
Black S4 returns next week. Thank GOOOOODDDDD. Can't wait to feel boost again.

I am on Sunrise everyday! As well as Jericho Tpke...everyday!
I have never seen a black S4! Saw a Imola Avant I have not seen before, yesturday on Rte 135. And a Laser Avant, not seen before...on the LIE/135 exchange.

I say we get all the Long Island S's together when it gets warm! Put some faces with the names and cars!

Mike, I'm out for at least a week! Turbos gone bad!
I brought it in for a check engine light 2 days after my 24000mi service and they tell me theyre replacing both turbos! Havent gotten any details yet, but they said it looked like the turbos swallowed something. No strange noises or any warning either! Aside from the check engine light, everything seemed fine.
Oh well, at least its covered under warranty.

Just the CE light...no limp mode or odd sounds? and BOTH turbos? Are you getting the work done in Amityville?
I saw a silver S in the corner by the service entrance beginning of the week...was that you?
Do you need a lift to work? Or maybe a lunch delivery?

drive it every day m'man. but don't gete past the Nassau/Suffolk border often!
saw Waseem and LI-S4 atht e Jones Beach GTG on 2-3-02. lotta S4s there. 4th Dimension (Heath) was there too.

No odd sounds, no limp mode, no warning...
...haven't gotten the full scoop from Legend yet.
Saw the car on Friday, they had all of the intake tract and part of the head disassembled. 2 pages of parts on order. They say it'll be done by Friday, but i'll believe it when I see it.
Thanks for the offer for the lunch deliveries and rides. They managed to get me a nice Geo Metro loaner! Go figure spend $$$ on a car and get a POS loaner.
