Can anyone tell me how this sounds at low RPM and highway?
I am concerned that on the highway it might be too loud?

It gets a little loud under hard acceleration between 3-4k RPM, but it's not too bad. During normal driving, it's not bad at all. I've gotten used to it, but you should definitely try to ride in a Scorpion car, before you buy.

I think it can be modified according to your preferences, but I may be wrong. I didn't want it loud and it's only loud on hard 1st and hard 2nd at high rpm. Otherwise it sounds remarkably like factory. Very happy with mine. Love the engraved tips!
