I recently picked up a silver 01 Avant w/onyx and silver Alcantara. Has anyone put anything protective on the Alcantara such as ScotchGuard? I've looked around and can not find anything stating this would be a bad or good idea. I do have a copy of care instructions, but again, does not mention any pro-active treatment. I've read Alcantara is easy to care for, but wondering if Scotchguard would make it easier. Thanks for your help.
