Scratched Wheels -- Should they be Replaced or Repaired?
My local audi dealer scratched 3 of my 4 summer wheels when they put on my new winter tire/wheel package (Pilot Alpines with Mille Miglia Spider wheels -- they look great!). I believe that the mechanic just threw the wheels on the ground when they were pulled off of my car. I didn't see the damage until I got home, because the wheels were in plastic bags. I did call the same day and am taking the wheels to the service manager this weekend.
My question is whether or not I should accept an offer to 'repair' the damage. Two of the wheels are signficantly scraped up on the main surface of the (stock 2001 S4 Avus) wheels. Any opinions would be much appreciated: should I accept an offer to repair the wheels or should I push for replacements?

Replace. A goodyear place did the same to one of mine. I had them replace it.
Incompetence is no excuse. They should be more careful.
