Sealant for oil pan (sump pan)
Got a little airborn the other day and on landing cracked my oil pan. No gasket is neede but what sealant should I use. Don't feel like paying the $35.00 for AUDI sealant. Was going to use Permanex Ultra grey sealant. Ant advise?

use the Audi sealant.
saving yourself 10-15 dollars using something not guaranteed to work is probably not worth it.
We replaced an oil pan on an S4 awhile back and at the recommendation of many we used the Audi sealant.
