Default Semi-noob question of the day: will driving for a short/moderate amount of time with the maf unplugg

unplugged cause any harm of any sort?

I'm planning on upgrading fueling during thanksgiving break so I need to send out my ecu and get it flashed and updated before hand. That means I would need it before I drive back home from school. So would driving a few days (mainly 3 hours to get home, with some driving on the side) with the maf unplugged inordered to drive the updated mbox ecu cause any harm of any sort?
