theyre adjustable. mine were like above, i unbolted the muffler section and pushed it in and it sits

PERFECT now.

thanks guys...still working on posting pics correctly(stfa!)...interesting about the tips...yes, i thought they are too far out too...front plate ala 4 biga$$ holes...working on it! best-
