Default Slotted Rotors
Ok, i got slotted Rotors all the way around last week. Took it home broke them in the way i was told. still heard a squeal. I took it back to awe, they worked on it the squeal went away, I got off the turnpike the squeal came back, now a week later its still going on. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be.

a squeal when you apply the brakes? all the time? what brand pads?

Default One of the drawbacks to slotted rotors is they tend to make your brakes squeal more. If you bedded
them properly the best bet would be to try different pads. Some people have mentioned some kind of lube but I don't know much about it...

2nd... Try a different pad... Mine don't squeal at all...

some pads are noisier than others. what pads did they put on?

FWIW hps front and mintex rear on slotted - never squealed-15k miles.
