Default Snub Mount Install Questions...

STFA and the tech articles and couldn't find some things out. I understand what it does and how it does it How does it attach and what labor is required (time and process). Is this a DIY or should I shop it? Those of you who have it... do you like?

yes - the dts is much easier (less time consuming) to install.

Default I don't have the DTS, but I'll say that I'm glad I did the snub

Just be VERY careful to screw the radiator mounts back in EXACTLY where you unscrewed them, or your bumper will not fit right.

The snub doesn't really do much when you're traveling at speed, but it does quite a bit to minimize shifting around at low speeds. Helps a lot if you sit in gridlock. Also great for when you're on a hill, it doesn't let the engine and drivetrain slam back when you depress the clutch.

Default With DTS already installed do you think it was worth it to add the snub?

I have DTS now and can't say enough about how much improvement it made but am still trying to decide whether it is worth it to also do the snub.

Default If you do, be prepared to rest your radiator on your forehead while you fiddle with the b*tch

Also, stick the snub in a microwave for 30 secs and grease it up before you try and get it on. You'll thank me later.
