So APR no longer sells the rebadged Stoptech's?

I dunno....but APR just doesn't seem as exciting a company as it once was....
They need to come up with something new....they are great in the 1.8t market. I ran their software in my Jetta....but they have kinda left S4 owners out to dry.

i would like to buy stgIII for S4 from APR rather than AWE..seems more practical and better
combination of products... i don't feel very confy with AWE tubular exhaust manifold, wich is the only thing that is attractive..the heat will be a problem with that setup.
and programing is all the same..

my car is exciting :o) r1eater will likely say the same :)
I'm not 100% sure, but I know they're working with Brembo on some braking solutions. I believe that StopTech just didn't offer anything above the ST40 that would work on the 996Turbo for what they wanted, so they've now moved to Brembo.
As for Exhausts, I recall some talk about a new manufacturer, and offering a less expensive option as well as a higher quality one, but my memory is a tad fuzzy here.
The fact that B&B can now sell Audi exhausts is probably not much of an issue as B&B typically overcharges.
This past summer, they came out with the S4's ver 5.0 tune, Direct Port, ECU Explorer and also threw together their Audi A3 which made some sick power on the dyno at the 1.8T Challenge - (wasn't it like 430wHP?). That's some exciting stuff. But I will agree, in the S4-exclusive market, they haven't added anything new (other than ver5.0), anytime recently.
We'll see what the spring brings as that's typically a big mod season

Please explain how heat is an issue for AWE's exhaust manifolds
The Swain Tech coating they use sounds like it works just fine to keep the heat in:
The AWE/McNeil Competition manifolds have a special Swain Tech coating that allows even better thermal insulation properties than the stock double-walled manifold design. This proprietary coating allows the fitment of a physically larger overall dimension header without sacrificing under hood heat control. The coating is a unique ceramic thermal barrier, commonly used for aerospace applications such as rocket nozzles, missile nose cones, and jet turbine parts.
