My choise dejour was actually an Audi! 180 TT Convertable with a very impatient lady driving.

This really made my morning.

So, I'm going along doing the speed limit (40) and she creeps up behind me. We come up to a stop sign, and both turn onto a 4 lane road which leads out of the residential into the industrail park. 40mph still.

I accelerate nicely up to the speed limit in the left lane. Meanwhile, she's accelerating in the right lane. Odd thing, is that there was a school bus in her lane picking up kids! I think to myself, she's not gonna go for it is she? Well, she does. She put the rush on me, and was gonna cut me off. There's a school bus and kids, I'm not gonna race, in fact I'm slowing down!

Well, low and behold, the Bus driver throws on her red blinking lights. She makes an emergency stop (still behind the bus), and I calmly slow down and stop aside of her. Snickering of course.

Bus Driver takes off the lights, and I accelerate slowly. Goading her if you will. She quickly snaps in behind me. We're now out of the residential into the industrial, and she whips out to pass me on the right. Knowing what she was gonna do, I just hung 2nd gear.

Well, that was about all I ever saw of her, cause she got to my door, and I hit it. Gone. I neutrilized her closing speed, and pulled away rapidly.

Dumb thing was, she was only gonna get infront of me to slam on her brakes, cause she was turning no more than 1/4 mile down the road. That really would have pissed me off. As it was she humblly turned, looking at my S4 badge ahead of her.

S4 victorious over a dumb driver in a TT.

I know it's not much, but it made my morning.

If you want to smoke her, do it from the right lane as she tries to pass on the left. But don't clog it up!

1) She was there.
2) The Bus was there
3) In a 1/2 mile the right turns into a right turn only lane
4) Its just a 2 lane road with lots of side streets, not a freeway or anything .

When on the freeway. I'm a huge proponent of slow being on the right. However when it's a 2 lane road from a residential area, with lots of side streets, I don't feel compelled to travel in the right.

Additionally, the right lane was close to turning into a right turn only lane, and I was going straight.

This is not a slow traffic move to the right situation.
