Default So i got my estimates today for body work,

I would venture to say the prices are obnoxious. However, the volume of parts being replaced is huge. Also, they say definite frame damage, needs to be straightened.

Estimate: $5000, visible damage only.

This was without opening the hood even, so they expect more.
Work to be done by coach and carriage auto body in Natick MA.

Heres the old accident report:

Supposed to be done sometime after the first, soon after i hope. Anyways, no rs4 front, i cant afford it, and the body shop doesnt want to deal with it cuz of fitment. Euros and maybe an rs4 grill, but that money will be going to performance mods now.

I would have that double checked. The estimate of $5000 sounds reasonable, but the other stuff they said would make me very worried. As the S4 is a unibody, there is no "frame". Also, the impact of such a lightweight object will not cause a sufficiently large impulse change that even the crumple zones will be severly damaged. I assume not even the airbag deployed, which means that your delta in speed was less than 25 km/h (16 mph) before and after impact. There is no way the "frame" is damaged.
