So far, especially for a truck I like it. Has all the toys, and if I ever get a trailer will pull the S4 to track events.
Leases are reasonable - 30mos, 660/month + tax with $0 down. And these things come loaded, NAV is standard for example.
If you are looking for an SUV, I drove them all. If VW had better residual, may have gotten one. Everything else (European) did not even come close. (Well, Mercedes is decent, I just hated it.)

X5? That is about 1/2 the size.
Drove it. 3.0 is anemic and loud, loaded V8 here in Seattle is 900/month. (BMW dealers are chumps here though.)
And it is MUCH, MUCH smaller. I would get the 530xiT instead if I wanted something that small. At least it has the new engine and handling.
X5 also feels old, BMW is overdue for a new one.
Drove a bunch of SUVs, short listed T-Reg and LR3. Chose LR3 as the lease was less and for only 30 mos. It also has an useable 3rd row, a bunch of room, LR3 loaners when servicing, and included maintenance.
Mercedes is awesome, and I bet Consumer Reports will like it. I hated it for no reason... I think best value lies with American or Japanese offerings... I just could not get there. (I guess I am a snob.)
