the Giac Flashloader Handheld is available? Car is currently unchipped, with apr bipipe and 710s. Are my turbos really at risk in the short term? Say it ain't so; I REALLY want downpipes and this would allow me to get some new sh*t now, then (mis)allocate sufficient ends into the slush/mod fund to finance the chip when it comes out. Brilliant, right?

Default K03's fail prematurely because they can't "breathe" well enough?

::rolling eyes::

Domestique...do a little research before you throw things onto the car, just so you understand the implications. While Imola has a point about the IC's, he's misinformed when it comes to the dp's.

Default Yeah, I figured. I was really looking for someone to reassure me that if I take it REAL easy

on the turbos and stay out of prolonged boost that I may avoid a problem. It would be cool if some public interest could spur whatever development remains to be done to release giac's flashloader for our cars, too. Of course, I didn't check to see if AWE's intercoolers are also on sale;-)

Default best way to delay an issue with the turbos is not to chip it.

And yes, AWE's IC's are on sale. I've been eyeing them this morning.

Default That's just it. As I understand it, every indication is if I install downpipes w/out a chip,

I'm at even more risk for turbo failure than a chip alone. If that is not the case, then I might be willing to go ahead with the downpipes while I wait on the flashloader. Make any sense whatsoever?

I doubt that's the case.

Default Less Restrictions In The Intake & Exhaust Allow Turbos To Flow Better..Is There A Potential For

overspin...OF COURSE...but u can't deny that basic premise...even stock DPs..exhaust..and intake can't completely deter K03 failure..cause it happened to me when i was stock!!!!
