so I'm driving home yesterday...
I left work early, I was feeling ill...and I was going west on rt 80 in NJ. I was driving maybe 65-70 mph when a black c230 passes me at about 90mph...so I switch into his lane, to my left and catch up to him, he punches it to about 100 or so, I keep up but let off after a few seconds.
What was funny is that he throws on his hazards...rolls down his windows and gives me the thumbs down, and continued for like a mile down the road. I couldn't help but to laugh and keep driving, although I did want to drive along side and rip his thumb off...haha.
I was thinking, WTF is this guy thinking?? I would care less if he had a faster car or not, but it was just funny that people take stuff like that so seriously.
His car wasn't that bad for a low end MB, I didn't bother to downshift, so I stayed in 6th...a few years ago I would've went nuts and did everything possible to beat him, I guess I'm just getting old...haha

haha...I love MB's, but
the C230 is nothing to go nuts about.
now I could understand if it was the C55, maybe even the C32.

Uhh, you could have stomped him without trying...C230s are slow.
If he thinks you cared, more power to him.
It's like when a dude in an A4 3.0 gets all uppity and wants to race...so silly.

Ha ha, to be honest a lot of the new B6 S4 owners (the non-enthusiasts) get on my nerves
I've had at least 2 guys floor it when getting on the freeway with me behind them, of course non-chipped I don't stand a chance. Then when I pull up next to them to give them a thumbs up or something, they look at me like "no way that older model Audi can keep up with THIS," and then they drive off.
Same thing with the two B6 S4 owners in my condo, I always wave and they look at me like with a somewhat snobby look - or maybe they are embarassed to wave at an "old model" owner. It's funny because they are both silver, and seeing as I'm silver with 18's as well, our cars aren't that much different.
