Default So, last night, I tried to remove the ABS controller without removing the front wheel.

I thought I really had a chanch, but no way. If I had small tools, like a tiny air ratchet, I think it could have been done.

Of course, I then would have dropped a bolt or tool into the wheel well anyway that would have necessitated the removal of the wheel, but that is beside the point.

Even with the wheel out, getting the middle bolt next to the firewall took a while.

I did not remove the washer fluid tank, though.

Anyone ever try this (leaving the wheel on)?

Default I'm pretty sure I did it with the reservoir untouched. Yup, I'm sure of it.

I have a tiny 1/4" drive ratchet I used to get all 6 bolts out.

Getting them back in might require moving the reservoir. We'll see.

Default bottom 2 were easy. Middle next to firewall, not so easy.

Through the liner, the bottom one is no problemo.

It's the middle one that was the hardest, especially because the clip thing that is dangling there gets in the way.

Scouts honor, dude.

Default I had some spare time last night. After 15-20 minutes, I declared it unpossible.

I'll move the reservoir to put the controller back in.

for some reason, I thought removing the liner would be a PIA.
