so, why do you love your s4?
my uncle is looking to buy a (slightly used) new car.
in the past, he's been a big BMW fan, so he's leaning towards either an m3 or an m5. however, i'm trying to push him into an s4, and he seems fairly agreeable to the idea, but i haven't sold him yet.
what made you buy the audi over the bimmer? what makes you smile every time you sit down in your driver's seat? how do i get him to overlook the lil' issues that the s4 has had?

(oh, btw, since he lives in NE ohio, i've already played the quattro card, and that definitely peaked his interest... i need more than that, though.)

if the car was for your uncle..just go with a M5..
i was gonna get M3 too but ended up getting a S4 because M3 was not out yet when I bought my S4..plus I don't think I can afford 12k more to get a M3..it's a bit overpriced IMO.

If he is a Driver and has Quattro...he was made for a Audi.
i lost count how many times i was stuck behind a
slow moving M3/M5 in traffic and wasted no time getting in front of these drones who dont have a clue. Find a wet area and let him test out the Quattro and let him then drive the M5 in the same conditions....Power without Control in Not Fun.....

Driving characteristics of the S4 better?
I currently own a e36 M3 and am trying to talk myself into selling the M and picking up a S4 due to the tuneability. Stock vs. stock there is no comparison in handling between the two cars. The M wins hands down. What so you have to do to an S4 go get it to handle equal to or better than the M? I know 4wd gets it in the snow and wet conditions but where I live its dry more than its wet. I also have a second vehicle for the snow because I hate salt which equals rust!!
