what do we need as a minimum to be able to hang at the track.
I have KW Variant I coilovers

you dont need much just try and be nice on the brakes (depends on how hard you drive), maybe get some Motul 600 brake fluid, as far as tires whatever you get will get soft after several hot laps and more than likely destroy them as nogaros4u stated.

For first several times out, use street tires.
They are far more progressive and give you much more warning before letting go. Get to know the car first before upgrading the rubber. The longest lasting max performance rubber I had on my car were the Yokohama AVS Sports. They tend to get pretty loud as they wear, though.

lots of water to drink and a wet towel to put on your head to remain cool.
Motul 600 brake fluid so you don't cook your brakes and a better compound pad.
