Some data on a lap of Buttonwillow between my car and a Boxster with R compounds...
As you can see, there were three turns that instilled fear in me, and hence, I was slowing down or not carrying speed through those turns. Those were Bus Stop, Riverside and the Esses. Although I should note that this graph is from the very first session of the second day (when I was a bit off my pace), it is clear that the pig of an S4 has its penalties against a stock Boxster with R compounds and 100+ less HP.
You should also note that Chris, who is driving the Boxster is a race car driver (Formula Mazda, Spec Racer Ford, etc), so I'd like to match his skill, but I know I don't :-)
Anyways, here it is. The dips in the graphs are throttle modulations. Looks like I need to be smoother on throttle and be more definitive between on throttle and on brakes.

Conversely, here is another participant's data (I think it was a 996 c2)
You can see, that there are similar traits as far as carrying speed through those turns. Although, I turned a 2:22 (Chris turned a 2:12), and Hazel (whose chart this is), turned a 2:26 and 2:29

Wait! You can compare data from different sessions?
Where did you download the software from?
The version I have is the latest one from the website but I cannot compare data yet. I can't overlay laps from different sessions. That is a the one update I need.
The data logger is the coolest toy ever.

I don't know what version. I just got the pic from Chris....
but off his page, I got the link below. Hopefully, it's the one you're looking for. You can also email Chris Brown (cb-racing.com) if you need to know more information.

Race Technology Download page.

Thanks. I got mine from Chris too. I'll email him.
Chris is bloody fast. I have the same difficulties as you with Riverside. It's hard as hell to go blasting in there on the limit. One small mistake and you're going for a scary ride.
