Some preliminary ASP K04/RS6 pump-gas quarter-mile info...

Well, earlier in this week I went to ATCO. The conditions on this run was about 48deg with start IAT's of about 75deg. It's full weight, with cats and cat-back as well as running on 93octane Exxon. Boost was 24-22.5 or so and AFR's were around 11.0: A conservative tune. FATS in this setup are around 3.0-3.2 or so, depending on ambient/heatsoak.
As previously posted, I was having some serious trouble shifting. I wasn't "missing" gears, it just felt like it wouldn't go into gear, the clutch wasn't releasing quickly enough at high RPM's. And once I got going, it was too late. The third run, I did a more brutal burn-out and shifted slowly and and deliberately to ensure the clutch had enough time to release. Soooo, it was a decent run... but we knew we could do better. I went again, with knowledge that Uli had a friend with a flatbed... the pressure plate died about 5ft into my next run
Clutchee no release, period.
Anyhow, the results are pretty decent and I'm somewhat happy... though next time I return (with the Avant) I expect 11.7@120 or better on pump, full weight, full exhaust.
I linked the video, it looked better than it felt from the drivers seat, but you can still see the nose fully-settle and rise again on the 1-2 shift... that normally doesn't happen.
Thanks to Mark and ASP for the Powah as well as Uli and Andy for the video and moral support. Next time, we'll see what it can do with some more tweaks, and a shiny-new CM4 from Simmply
