Default Somehow my dealer scratch/dent thread vanished?? Happy ending inside...

Background: Car in for service. They washed it (scratching clearcoat) and left dent in rear quarter panel.

I visited the service manager during my lunch break. He was apologetic and agreed to make me happy by whatever means possible. The car will be taken in to have the dent fixed and the clearcoat buffed professionally (shop of my choice) at my convenience...no questions asked.

I feel much better.

Default Likely it was some minimum wage car washer...I'm sure he'd deny it too.

They know me and they know how I take care of my car. He didn't doubt me for a second.

Default Well, either way it is good that they will take care of it. Now all you need to do is...

bring your car with you next time you visit. If I see a jeep, I'm gonna poop on it.

I'll take it out on their loaner car. I haven't been bowling for garbage cans since high school ;-)
