Or have the dealer look at it? It just simply will not go until I let off the clutch and push it back in and try again. I've experienced this problem before with other standard trans cars, but I know that some people have mentioned serious tranny problems with their S4s..

No worries. Just 2X clutch and you should be fine.

Me, too, sometimes...but only when I first start up - worse when it is cold outside.

Make sure the parking brake is off first. Helps me getting into reverse.

For some reason (for me, anyway), sometimes it's almost impossible to get into reverse, but releasing the parking brake first allows an easy shift, even if you're standing on the brake and the car doesn't roll an inch! ???
