Default Speeding ticket reduced!

I don't know if you guys know/care but I got busted real bad on the Hutch doing 80-90. the copper couldn't catch up on the windy roads and when he did he was fuming! So he pleasantly dropped two speeding tickets on my dash. 1 - on the radar 79 in a 50 2 - pacing (yeah right!) 81.

anyways, I went to http://nytrafficlawyer.com and he's gotten one ticket reduced to a lane violation and 3pts. I highly recommend this guy! And the other court date is coming up. GO GET EM MR. KRON!

Default I've never seen a cop on the Hutch/Merrit...that's why I like using it to get to MA

Nowhere for cops to hide!

Where were you busted? South of 287?

Default I was thinking the same thing -- unless there was a speed limit change, in which case he might be

able to give 2 tickets?

I dunno, every state is different...

They're on the Merritt in Greenwich, Norwalk, and all through New Haven County

Default OK, Now you guys are scaring me...

The lack of cops on the Merritt is a big part of what makes the drive to MA fun! You can sustain high speeds on that road, even in traffic, and it has enough curves to justify my swaybar.

How else am I gonna get from Northern NJ to Framingham in 3 hours?

Default This doesn't make sense to me either.

I worked traffic for 2 years and I've never heard of any officer giving out 2 speeding tickets. I personally don't think he could do that.

I don't care how mad he got, I think he's overstepping his boundaries trying to slam you cuz he's pissed off.

I would've taken it to court myself and talked to the prosecutor.

Default <<LONG>>

i thought they can only give you one ticket. because we went through two/three towns before he pulled on his lights. so he got me on the gun in one town then in another town he was pacing me. . .so there was another ticket. I talked to the lawyer and he said the cop can do that. .and now my only concern was to fight the ticket. I also talked to the court clerk and they said i should explain it to the judge - then she said good luck.

It was a Westchester County Cop and he was hiding in the most f**ked up place! When you enter NY from CT, and your under the bridge. ..go straight for 1/4 a mile and on the right hand side there's another lane coming in - he was right inbetween the space of the two lanes on the hutch/merrit!

I am pretty sure he can't give you a ticket for speeding in CT
