I'm sure all of you have read the whole story behind my car. (ECU is FUBAR. Long.. link posted at bottom) Well during lunch my mechanic friend and I decided to play mad scientist with my ecu. We removed the GIAC chip and reseated it into the ECU. Started the car up and did the ol' tapping test. The S didnt like it and cut in and out. A light bulb flashed in my head and I began to remember. The shop that installed my chip gave me my stock chip back in a GIAC labeled container. We removed the GIAC chip and replaced it with the stock chip. Did the ol' knock test again and voila, car runs like a champ.

So with that being said I guess my old GIAC chip is defective. I'll be giving GIACusa a call sometime during this week or so and see if I can get a new one or better yet one with more programs. Thanks for everyones input and what not.
