After a cracked rear flange, and cracked upper oil pan (my own doing) I completed a stage III for the first time and by myself (bad idea) a good month ago. I connected the battery, tried to start it and nothing happened. I did get smoke coming out of the rear of the center console. I tried to find the source of the smoke, but all I found instead was an e brake that no longer shows any resistance (but the rear brakes are still engaged). Maybe the smoke was the break line burning?? Anyway, whatever was smoking seems to have stopped now. I put a voltometer to the starter and it's not getting any juice. I also had a friend put his ear up to the fuel pump when I turn the key and he heard nothing. I checked all the fuses, but not the relays. I'm also leaking coolant from the top, front, driver's side of the engine down the back of it, onto and out of the bottom of the bell housing. (had to pull the engine a second time to find that one out)...what a nightmare. My main concern right now is getting the car out of the bay it's been sitting in since june... I can tackle the leaks later. What could be causing this?? I charged the battery, the clutch is connected and was engaged, the alarm was unlocked (disarmed), and the ecu is all connected along w/all the wiring harnesses (as far as I know ..I'm pretty stuck right now, I must say.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA. ..also, I'm out of money, so suggesting to take it to a dealer is out of the question.

do the dash lights light up when you turn the key to the on position?

I tested both lines coming off the positive side of the batt and they're both good.
